　　升入三年级，我们新开设了一门课程是英语。

　　第一次上课时的情景让我记忆犹新。课前，我和我的同学们一起讨论“英语课学什么内容呢？”话音刚落，铃声就响了。我们迅速座好等待英语老师的到来，老师一进门，我就觉得教室里的气氛和往常不同，静得连一根针掉下去的声音都听得见。是因为第一次上英语课吗？

　　我们的英语老师有一头乌黑亮丽的头发，眼睛大大的，个子不高也不矮，但是整个人却很有精神。她教我们学的第一个词是“ms 刘”，有很多同学都不知道什么意思，老师马上翻译过来跟我们说“这个词的意思是刘女士或是刘老师”。随后英语老师就开始讲述第一节英语课。

　　她先给我们讲了讲英语单词，但是我听的一头雾水，整节课也是云里雾里的，什么都没听懂。放学后我带着英语课本来到校门口等待妈妈来接我回家，妈妈来到校门口笑着说：“你怎么带着英语课本啊？”“我没有听懂老师讲的英语。”刚说完我的眼泪就在眼眶里打转。

　　回到家妈妈给我打开录音让我跟着读，可还是没有听懂。然后就着急得趴在桌子上哭了起来。妈妈跟我说：“别着急，等你哥哥放学回来教教你。”话音刚落哥哥便打开门大叫一声：“我回来了！”把我逗得笑了起来。哥哥看我脸上还挂着泪珠，便问我怎么回事，我跟哥哥说了原因之后哥哥跟我说：“没事，走，我教你去！”然后我就跟着哥哥来到我的房间开始教我英语。

　　哥哥一边开着玩笑一边鼓励并教我学习英语，这让我觉得英语没有那么枯燥无味，使我对它充满了兴趣。经过哥哥的耐心指导让我学会了老师之前所讲的那些内容并且预习了后面一个单元，这使我觉的英语并没有想象中的那么难。

　　哥哥对我的鼓励，让我信心倍增，从那时起我就更努力地，上课专心的听讲，课后细心的做练习、听录音，所以现在的英语还挺不错的呢。
