　　Self discipline is a strange and distant word for me. 　　一次，我看了一本很好笑的漫画书，但妈妈喊我去复习，我只好放下书本，极不情愿地拿起语文书。复习了一会儿，我不禁又想起刚刚没看完的漫画，想要继续看。过了一会儿，我听到妈妈在打电话，机会来了！我蹑手蹑脚地跳下椅子，走出卧室，来到客厅，悄悄地抽出漫画，听妈妈还在打电话，脚底抹油，赶紧溜走。

　　我把语文书套在外面，漫画藏在里面，竖起语文书的最后一页，让妈妈以为我在认真复习。看书还不能好好看，提心吊胆的，耳朵也得竖起来倾听，听觉能力提高好几倍。听见妈妈房间里传出的说话声，我悬着的新稍稍放下了一点儿。听到妈妈的谈话快结束时，我心里提醒自己该放下书本了，但心中一直有个小声音在说“在等等，不会有事的，再看一会儿吧！”不知怎么回事儿，一等再等，一看再看，放纵着自己的欲望。

　　脚步声渐近，我连忙把漫画合上，放在语文书下，继续复习。等脚步声走远，我舒了一口气，拿出书继续看。这本漫画就在提心吊胆中看完，塞进书堆中，一切都做好后，才发现自己已惊出冷汗。

　　这样的阅读并不能使我痛快，反而要十分紧张，还不如复习好了，光明正大地读。其实看书没有必要窃读，可以和妈妈说一下，合理安排读书时间，也可以在休息时间阅读，心安理得地读。

　　有时候我写英语时，妈妈不在家，也会偷偷摸摸地看电视。被妈妈批评之后，我开始自律，提醒、监督自己不许看电视。慢慢地我就不会再想着电视，先把英语认真写好，省略了改正的步骤，节省出时间安心看电视。

　　任何事情都是一样的，早做了早玩。抓紧时间把要事快速完成，剩下的就是自己的娱乐时间。反之，做事拖呀、磨呀，浪费的就是自己玩的时间，不如早点做完，就多出了玩的时间。或者可以给自己写一个时间计划，一天的事情都做完了，就可以尽情地玩了，何乐而不为呢？
